  I think what you said made a great deal of sense. But, what about this? suppose you added a little content? I ain't saying your information isn't good, however suppose you added a headline that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You might glance at Yahoo's front page and see how they create news titles to grab people interested. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get people excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.
